Membership Levels

There are four levels of membership within IUSF: the RED level, the RED+ level, the KHAKI level, and the KHAKI+. Our goal is to encourage RED members to increase and continue with their involvement in IUSF until they reach the KHAKI+ level.

The following is a list of requirements for membership at each of the four levels:

Social

RED Membership

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Sophomore, junior, senior, or 2nd semester freshman standing
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
  • Earn 300 GMC points
  • Attend 1 fundamental
  • Attend 1 social
  • Miss no more than 3 committee meetings per semester

RED+ Membership

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Junior, senior, or 2nd semester sophomore standing
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
  • Earn 500 GMC points
  • Attend 1 fundamental
  • Attend 1 social
  • Miss no more than 3 committee meetings per semester

KHAKI Membership

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Junior or senior standing
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
  • Earn RED or RED+ membership
  • Earn 800 GMC points
  • Attend 1 fundamental
  • Attend 2 socials
  • Miss no more than 3 committee meetings per semester
  • Represent IUSF at 1 non-IUSF event
  • Complete 1 community outreach activity (pre-approved by IUSF)

KHAKI+ Membership

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.0
  • Junior or senior standing
  • Enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours
  • Earn RED, RED+,  or KHAKI membership
  • Earn 1100 GMC points
  • Attend 1 fundamental
  • Attend 2 socials
  • Miss no more than 2 committee meetings per semester
  • Represent IUSF at 1 non-IUSF event
  • Complete 2 community outreach activities (pre-approved by IUSF)
